Sean practices law with prudence, pragmatism, and professionalism. He continues to use his experience and expertise to provide his clients with fair and accurate legal representation.
Sean has experience appearing in Alberta Provincial Court, Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench, and Alberta Court of Appeal. He has experience in all areas of divorce and family law, with an emphasis on divorce, matrimonial property disputes, parenting, custody, and also support disputes.
Adoptions are close to Sean’s heart. Being adopted himself, Sean takes great pride in assisting his client’s with direct placement adoptions. He has also appeared in Harris County, Texas before the District Court as an expert on Alberta Adoption Law.
He graduated from University of Alberta and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in philosophy. During this degree, Sean developed his ability to think critically, think creatively, and read and understand intricate texts. Sean then obtained his Juris Doctororate at University of Calgary where he gained an understanding of legal principles and expanded his expertise in research and analytical thinking.
Following law school, Sean summered and articled at an international firm based in Calgary, Alberta and gained experience in general litigation. After some time, Sean left to enhance his understanding of family law at a larger family law boutique. His passion for family law and desire to help clients compelled him to open his family law practice in Edmonton, Alberta.
Sean is on the board of director’s of the Edmonton Bar Association, is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, is a trained mediator and arbitrator.
